Dr. Andreas Supersaxo is a globally renowned expert in lipid-based drug delivery technologies. With a distinguished career at Vesifact AG (Baar, Switzerland), Dr. Supersaxo's research focuses on oral absorption enhancement, dermal delivery systems, self-emulsifying delivery systems (SEDDS / SMEDDS), and lipid colloidal carriers (including microemulsions). Prior to leading the research and development at Vesifact AG, Dr. Supersaxo was a Senior Research Scientist at Roche Pharmaceuticals (Basel, Switzerland) and Syntex Research (Palo Alto, California). He owns an impressive collection of patent licenses, and received both his PhD in Pharmaceutics and M.S. in Pharmacy at ETH Zürich.
